డబ్బు మైనస్ డబ్బు - Dabbu Minus Dabbu
By Yandamuri Veerendhranath.
Its a sequel to Dabbu to the Power of Dabbu , But its much more matured then the earlier, as it should be. it as an extra attachment of "How to Earn Money" a gift to readers by Yandamuri.
Yandamuri gave many useful (???) tips on how to earn money with ethics and with out.
having commerce background he used every opportunity to show his knowledge in the filed.
i don't like showing HarshadMehata (The Big Bull) as Hero.
Japenees style of Love Making is very hilarious (Romantic). I say Romance (or more) is high in this Novel then others what i read of Hi's
Yandamuri plays with physiology of reader by
Introducing Gandhi (Hero of Dabbu to the Power of Dabbu / Telugu Movie Chalenge) who says a Writer is who give away all his Intelligent, Money Making Ideas to readers (???).
It gives instant gratification to the reader, how easy it is to earn money and fool people, guess what .....it doesn't help writer much.
Mega Star Chirangivi was a super +.
On a whole its great read...
Comedy, Excitement, Romance, Surprise, Fiction, Brainstorming, etc...

Annamayya Pada Mandaakini
Annamayya Pada Mandaakini
Book Review
Commendable presentation
Saint-poet Annamacharya was a supreme master of ‘Pada Kavitha,’ his devotional fervour being his main spring of motive. Though there is no single term to define the profundity with which he exercised his power over metaphorical imagination draped in the sheer beauty of Telugu idiom, one can say that Annamacharya remains unsurpassed in the word craft by which his sankirtanas leave a great devout effect on us.
This book entitled “Annamayya Pada Mandaakini” offers transliteration, Telugu commentary and English explanation for 108 Sankirtanas composed by Annamacharya. The number 108 has great significance in Hindu philosophy. For instance, 108 Gopis {consorts} of Lord Krishna, 108 Holy places for Vaishnavas, 108 beads on Japamaala (rosary), 108 Upanishads, 108 Divyadeshas (sacred places) throughout India and Nepal, and 108 sacred water taps in Muktinath, Nepal.
The credits for this book are:
Concept and Compilation: Mahidhara Seeta Rama Sarma
Telugu Commentry: G.B. Shankara Rao
English Connotation: Raneekumar
Transliteration: Kiranmaie
Composer: Sattiraju Venumadhav
The sankirtanas chosen for this compilation are not too well known to common devotees and music lovers, hence are very novel and new to read and enjoy their meaning. It is clearly understood that one’s felicity of expression will be greater in one’s mother tongue – G.B.Shankara Rao’s explanation in Telugu is an example for that. The creative artistry and technique with which he gave the commentary and exegesis of the sankiratans are commendable. The command over language coupled with extensive knowledge on the subject made him give fine comments, observations and underlying esoteric meanings.
Ranee Kumar’s English explanation / connotation is easy and smooth, without too much of frills. She has stuck to the point diligently and offered clear-cut perspective. She being a student of music and dance, seems to have enjoyed the work and it reflects very clearly.
Apart from literary value, this book has musical value too as it comes along with an audio CD. Classical singer and composer Sathiraju Venumadhav had not only set the 108 sankirtanas to music in 108 different ragas, but he had also rendered them. A humongous task, but well handled. Kudos to him for this divine offering. The music rendition by Venu Madhav is dulcet and harmonious, though at some places sankirtanas sound monotonous probably because of the close similarities in the ragas chosen.
The exquisite beauty of Annamacharya’s sankiratans cannot be totally carried into any translation or explanation but it is important that the Sankirtanas by Saint-Poet Annamacharaya are translated into/ explained in English and are made accessible to pan -Indian readers as well as International readers. They represent our vast archival work of great importance.
Works such as these make our heritage more worthy and timeless. Annamayya’s sankirtanas deserve to be read and revered not only in one particular state or one country, but by the global community of readers spread all over the world. Translation is the only means by which something so important can happen.
Literary activities such as these are imperative for promoting global culture and universal brotherhood transcending national boundaries and ideological boundaries. One of the easy ways to promote national integration and to combat sub-national insularity is to get the representative literary works translated from one language to another at national and international levels.
This is a commendable presentation, an important compilation. The aesthetic appeal is well taken care of in the production. Mahidhara Seeta Rama Sarma must be congratulated for conceptualizing and coordinating this impressive venture.

Vennello Aadapilla
వెన్నెల్లో ఆడపిల్లThere was a Movie based on this Novel BUT it's no match to the Book, As Paulo
Coelho said, "when a Book was made as a Movie it always fails to satisfy or meet the
reader’s expectations. As every reader crates a Movie of his own imagination and lives
with the Characters. When one find his favorite book as movie, rather disappointed
one will be."
Inspired by this Book, and letters. I've stated writing a Letter Too .. Then some thing
Great happened.
I realized what an outstanding Dumbo, I am.
So... i left the poetic letters to Yandamuri,
and kept the rough work with me, as they carry the real feeling, not the refined Work.

2044 A.D;
World;
USA (United States of India); Andhrapradesh;
Time :10-55.
Are the Opening words of the Book, which takes you in a Time Machine Ride to Future USA
(United States of Andhra). Once again lost in Y.V shows his magic of Fiction and Futurology with a touch of Cool breezeGodhavari.
I've got this Book from my younger bother who is, a Next generation guy, He is very exited about this book. that's the power of Yandamuri Books.
one of my College Lecturer said that, "Read Anando Brahma before Marriage, only then you can feel it" , --- Now i see what he really meant !!!.
Y.V kept me Busy during Vizag to Banagalore Train journey, of-course the Train was 6 Hr delay very boring and annoying as expected.
The Transition of Generations and mind set was discussed wonderfully, I already feel that the current generation Cares the Values, Feelings and more Divine, try visiting ISKON Temple nearby and you will realize that there are more youngsters at the temple. We feel more Responsible against the Global society (ppl protested when world-trade center fall, or when a child struck in China, earthquakes in Japan or Volcano Erupted etc. etc..)
The extracts from Telugu Prabhanda's was very refreshing. We posses Great Literature, we never care to read them.
A GOOD WRITER IS HE WHO

2 States by Chetan Bhagat
2 States by Chetan Bhagat
- ‘The story fo my marriage’
At last I got my hands on 2States, there was a big buzz about this book, I couldn’t even get a copy in Landmark, I’ve enquired couple of sources and everyone promised to get me this book.
I planned to read it in train during travel from Blore to Vizag, as you know traveling for 24+Hrs (+ is because you never know when the Indian Railways lose track, I’m sure you wondered is it a super fast express you boarded or a passenger, and adding to that we have this Telangana issue)
Is boring, and people like me, don’t want to socialize, except there is a good looking girl on next berth (Damn...! I travel many times from Chennai, Blor and Hyderabad to vizag but never find a good looking girl any where near to the boxcar I get into, may be this only happens in Movies that to be with Hero’s).
At last the day (24-Dec-09) of my travel is day up, NO one turned up with this book. I have to buy this book any way. Ranga... The 2nd’s book seller near Forum whom I can bank on... I rushed to him, he said no bhaya shop closed its 9:30PM. I have to say “Cmon boss I want 2States you are getting it or I wont buy any more books from you... “. Book in my hand.
11: 20 PM Bhuvaneshwar Exp started from Blore SBC, turned pages, as cities pass-by.
I reached Chennai, finished reading the book in my mobile light.
Wow.. that’s wonder full, Laugh. Laugh..
Who cares those co-passengers, who gave me a dirty look, while I was reading the book over night and laughing for those comedy scenes.
I liked when he said “worlds most sensible and fool is with in us, you never know who is who”
I felt the same way writer did when I came to Chennai first time, but later once I learned the language and understand the people, I felt good. There is a rhythm in the Chennai chaos.
It’s not quite natural to accept that a Authentic Tamil Bhramin girl was portrayed as Drinker, non-veg eater, uses abusive language and involved pre-marital relations.
F-Word was used more then his pervious books. Looks like writer feels this is the only word to explain or lure reader of diff situations.
The Krish’s Father Character suddenly turns to good. The whole characterization is gone for a toss, the only explanation for this is a Ashram visit in
City guys’ wakeup… is it so cheap to be a Banker... it could be some one’s Dream...
On a whole... Book made me Laugh... Laugh... during a Boring train journey.

The 3 Mistakes of My Life – Chetan Bhagat
The 3 Mistakes of My Life – Chetan Bhagat
My room mate Tiru showed me this book saying that His friend gifted it.
Having heard about Chetan Bhagat for his previous successful books,
I plunged and took the book; Started reading... it starts with an interesting event, but wont hold for long.. soon I felt boring..
After two days. On a Sunday evening.. I took the book again.. and flipped few pages and I found Viday’s episode. hum.. interesting
Pages just flew away, finished the book at 1:20AM. Felt Refreshing…
Characters Govind , Ishaan , Omi, Vidya, Ali, Bittoo Mama are very realistic; one can easily identify and feel what characters felt.
Situations are well explained.. its like a movie narration.
I guess Chetan Bhagat has planned while writing the book.
Linking of Word Cup match, Godhra riot, Gujarat Earthquake etc..
Issues and the reflection on a common man, gives a realistic experience.
BUT:
I’m still not convinced why Govind (a practical business man) has to suicide 2yars later his 3 Mistakes, and why he sent mail to the Writer.
Govind who calls himself as an agnostic, says THANK GOD many times.
Some times his comments sound like alien
Why Omi has to die..
As Paulo Coelho said, when a Book was made as a Movie it always fails to satisfy or meet the reader’s expectations. As every reader crates a Movie of his own imagination and lives with the Characters. When one find his favorite book as movie, rather will be disappointed.
Overall this book makes a good reading. It was clearly communicated to the Reader that despite of Big or Small mistakes one can be successful ...I liked it..

The POWER of Your Subconscious Mind

Fellow of the Andhra Research University of India
http://josephmurphy.wwwhubs.com
hm... yet another Self Help Mind Magic blah blah ... Book.
thats exactly what i thought..
you know what, i was wrong, this book. This Great BOOK is the Great Grandfather of all the present day self help and mind books..
The scientific explanation of Prayer, and Desire indeed Admirable.
what is interested is the concept of Scientific prayer, explanation of the Bible quotes with the index.
"The prime condition, which Jesus insisted upon, was faith. Over and
over again you read in the Bible,
According to your faith is it done unto you."
"Accord-ing to your belief is it done unto you."
"A classical instance of Bible technique is recorded in MATTHEW 9:28-
30. And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and
Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto
him, Yea, Lord. Then touched he their eyes, saying, according to your faith
be it unto you. And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them,
saying, see that no man know it."
". . . for with authority and power he commandeth the un-clean spirits,
and they came out. LUKE 4:36."
and the 20 Chapters of this Book and Audio mp3 covers all the aspects of life. at the end it overflows one with such a +ve confidence and belief that one can do any thing and every ting. the only thing stopping you is YOU.
having said all that..
if you are a lazy type (just like me) , there is a possibility that you come a conclusion that ,
do noting just believe that you are Rich, and you will be .
"Accord-ing to your belief is it done unto you."
here is another interesting fact
Joseph Murphy is a Fellow of the Andhra Research University , Visakhapatnam of India
i couldn't get much info on his being in Vizag yet.. will update you soon..

The White Tiger from Aravind Adiga
A 2008 Booker award winner

I’ve just read the book to find out how it got the booker award, but frankly I felt its not worth it.
I’ve spent my money , time and energy, this book does not satisfy me. I’m terribly disappointed.
Its not reality nor fiction, away from reality and not even close to fiction.
The language used is not good at all. Half way through the book,
I felt like I’m reading a years old news paper.
I’ve suggested my friends not to go for this book.

our company's (msys-tech.com) CEO Mr Vijay, got really inspired by this book and audio, he provided the audio sessions in our

appreciated the chance to listen to the complete audio of the 7 Habits, and it once does the
paradigm shift, and leads us the way of healthy Habits. I’m totally convened with the Author. Its
